From what I understand both sides of the aisle are trying to prevent the CEO's from the companies that need to be bailed from getting their severance packages .You're right.....they should walk away from this with more than just a slap on the wrist.

I agree with you.Everyone and anyone who made commissions and bonuses from those bad mortgages should be made TO COUGH IT BACK up into a fund dedicated to solving this mess.These morons ran the company into the ground while playing with Monopoly money, now you expect the tax payers to pay for your mistake, get out of here. How about all the old people and poor people that got scanned and lost their homes because of this, who's going to help them??

If we take care and straightness out, all upper management should lose all benefits all money and be gone .for what they've been paid ensure they can live good .should be all replaced in a group of people should look at the new people they put in place and report in what's going on every quarter .

I don't think taxpayers should have to bailout these big companies. The government did away with regulation and gave them the ok to make risky loans. They, in their own great wisdom, decided to give the CEO's extremely high pay. Why should the taxpayers have to pay these people to do the same as they have been doing? Let them suck it up just like the middle class has had to do.
