While I do allow my kids to get some vaccines I do not allow them to get all. I won't go into my speech about the drug companies and doctors hand in brainwashing ppl into giving into uneccessary drugs. And yes I'm n the medical field. I can not tell u how many arguments I've gotten into it with the nurses and MA's when I told them that I don't want my kids getting certain vaccinations and medicines and the reasons why. Why does my child need a varicella, influenza, and hpv vaccine? I've consulted with variuos specialists and other allied health professionals the ones who kno their stuff will tell u that Ppl with not a good immune system, the elderly, and babies are the worst kinds ppl to give these toxins to.I have a cousin who has never had a vaccinations and is very healthy and about as vulnerable as a person who is vaccinated. A friend of mine has a little sister who has never been vaccinated. Very healthy.I've given into vaccinations for the 1st part of my childrens life but I have since researched it and found that they are either counterproductive being that they may protect from the disease but pose other health problems or jus plain not needed.I'm against them. But what I wanna ask is do u vaccinate your children? Is it because the doctor told u to? I jus wanna kno your views.Maybe argument was the wrong word to use. But I will say they gave me a hard time. And I didn't back down when they tried to "persuade" me that I was making a mistake.

I do vaccinate my daughter, I want to keep her as healthy and strong as she can be.

I vaccinate them I figure WTH, so the drug companies are making a few bucks off me who is not these days, why should I single them out for stealing from me. Im more concerned with Obama and his new "not" taxes.

I do vaccinate my kids. I spread them out so they did not get them all at one time, though. I do feel that they should rethink the schedule, but I do think you need vaccinations.

Yes, my kids have ALL of their vaccinations and are perfectly happy and healthy

Yes I do, I also make sure that both of us get the booster shots aswell when they are due.

NO I do not. Immunizations is a choice - not a federal or state requirement as the government wants to make it out to be. I have 4 children and have only immunized one of them - only because at the time I thought it was the law. Medical decisions are made considering what is best for each individual and should be made by the parents and not the government. They will also say that immunizations are required to get into schools, etc., and this too is a fallacy. There are exemption forms that can be turned into schools in lieu of immunization cards (medical exemptions, religious exemptions....) Immunizations can be risky, and for each individual child, the parent is the one that has to weigh the risks vs.the benefits and decide then which route to take. Not immunizing was the right choice for my children, but may not be the right choice for some others. With my first child, he got chicken pox from the vaccine My best friend is a pediatrician and HE doesn't immunize his children, either. MOst of the vacinations are ridiculous! ...So what does that tell ya?

I chose to vaccinate my children with the exception of annual flu vaccines and my daughter isn't getting the HPV vaccine.But all the other major childhood vaccines, they had them.I understand people's rationales for not wanting them, and there are many good reasons. But the bottom line is this, those people who do not vaccinate against these major, infectious diseases which can cause serious illness and death, they are depending on the rest of the world to vaccinate their kids. If we all did not vaccinate, what would happen? We're already seeing the resurgence of many diseases like Rubella and Mumps, and it's being spread among the children who are not vaccinated of course. From a public health standpoint, it's the responsible thing to do. From an individual parent's standpoint, of course it remains your choice. I encourage parents who are worried about vaccinating young babies to give delayed vaccinations in toddlerhood, as many parents fear the autism risk when they are given to young babies.

I gave my son the standard vaccinations required by the school district.Any vaccinations that are not legally required are your option, and there should be no need to argue with medical personnel.

I do vaccinate my girls... for their and others safety and health

I do vaccinate. Not only because the doctor tells me to, but because I would rather prevent the chance of them dying from a disease that could of been prevented. I'm also trying to talk my sister into getting the HPV vaccine for her daughter. I know if I had a daughter, I would get it for her. The flu shot I agree with with because it lessens the severity of the illness. I get it every year too. Neither of my kids has ever had the flu, just colds. I think its a decision everyone should make for themselves.

I vaccinate my children. If it will provide extra protection against potential fatal diseases then I am all for it. I vaccinate because my dr does recommend it and I feel comfortable doing so.

No I do not vaccinate my son.I chose to keep him healthy and unvaxed.I made this decision after countless hours of research about every disease and vaccination.I found that the risks were so not worth it,nor did I find any benefits.

I did vaccinate. I had a great uncle who had polio and was on crutches. I also had allergies to them. I had a wait and see attitude. My daughter will get the HPV shot when she's old enough (she will be 5 in August) because my grandmother who got married at 18 died of cervical cancer at age 70. My grandfather was 6 years older and had been in the military and she very likely contracted it from him. There are no guarantees on prevention.
