|  DSL Broadband Speed is very Slow ??? Please Explain why ?
I have 4Mbps DSL Broadband Speed.I m measuring speed with Speedtest website & from our ISP.It is showing correct speed But practically speed is very very slow.Even after hiting Refresh Button 4-5 times,Requested page is displayed.Most of the time "Server not Found" message appears.Ours is Hotel & I m using this DSL Broadband in our Hotel where I m working.So Can anybody tell me what's happening with the speed.I checked with users.Nobody is downloading softwares.Please help me????

You forgot to say which broadband server you're using. and what website you're trying to contact.Maybe the server is throttling some websites.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9jHOn0EW8UOur house hold has 6 PCs surfing the net on a 2mb connection. It's pretty smooth sailing. Sometimes pings get higher when everyone's on it with intensive downloading, but nothing to drastic (1-2 second delays).

There are MANY reasons for computer slow downs: not enough memory too many programs starting up with windows at boot up time too many junk files too many restore pointsClean windows registry can speed up the computer.Over time, you install new programs, uninstalled unimportant programs, update software's, install new devices, download files from the web, etcetera, hence embarking all records in the registry system.This is normal, but it is not wise to leave it untouched.
