Default Will Jamie Carragher respond to the the Captain's call?

Or will he continue to be a sulking churl?http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1191126/England-captain-John-Terry-begs-Liverpool-defender-Jamie-Carragher-make-international-comeback.html?ITO=1490@Dan anyone can miss a penalty. His issue is with not being a starter. If you are not starting for your club what do you do? Maybe train hard, try and catch the manager's eye and wait for your chance to impress? Or do you go home? If I was John Terry I wouldn't be wasting my time on him and I certainly wouldn't reward him with allowing him to be involved now as the World Cup approaches.

So boring. Him that is. Re: his decision and the stupid talk about it.If he gave it up he shouldn't be convinced to play again except once maybe out of respect for him. Once he refuses the call he refuses it and to me any such player (Totti first in line for Italy, the disgraceful pr!ck) deserves no future call-up.

No I cant see him going back on what he said he was treated like rubbish by the England management in the past. He was singled out for missing the penalty when we got knocked out the cup to Portugal and often left out for lesser players then him.Besides he has always maintained he would only play for england if it were an emergency. People slate him for it but what about Paul Scholes he quit because he had a strop about being played out on the left. He had been asked many times to pull on the england shirt and refused. I don't blame Carragher he decided he was not getting in the England team so why risk his fitness when he could save it for Liverpool a team that appreciates what a decent player he is. Why should he spend all that time away from his family to go abroad and sit on a bench.

Why should he! He didn't get picked for years and now is the right time in his career to put club football first.
