If you are trying to look for a real job on craigslist. Give that up. I found that 90% of employers who post on craigslist jobs or gigs section never even respond back regardless if your qualified or not. What is up with that? What a complte waste of time.

You have to be careful with craigslist. Most of the jobs are fake and some people just do it to collect resumes and personal information. However, it's not all that bad. You just have to pick ones that look legitimate. For example, some craigslist employers will not leave their company name and they will use a craigslist address. Don't apply for these jobs, they provide little to no details and it most likely is fake. I have applied to some jobs where they do post their company name, where exactly they are located and their job e-mail address. You just have to watch out for the bad ones, but there are legitimate ones out there. My last advice would be don't include your home address on your resume because some employers use this to sell your information to other companies. Good Luck!

I think it depends on the line of work you're in. I don't usually use Craigslist for finding jobs, but when I did, I had a great offer from a good company.So, be selective. Don't respond to "work from home" and "unlimited earnings" type posts. And never, never, ever pay someone an application fee.Craigslist can be what you make of it.
